Hi everybody, I found an upcoming nearby AOPA seminar at KCOS on February 3 2016. The symposium is entitled: "Emergencies: Getting it Right When Things Go Wrong". This would be a great opportunity for current and training pilots to learn more about emergency procedures, as well as a chance to network with industry leaders and influential contacts.
The link is below. As far as I can tell, this is a free to attend symposium, but I am unsure whether you need to be a current AOPA member.
