Revisiting the 1500 Rule

Because apparently politicians and unions know how to fly airplanes better than pilots, a recent push spearheaded by ALPA (Airline Pilots Association) to address the concern of, and to advocate for, much-needed pilot training reform; is meeting staunch resistance from policial action committees backed by NY Senator Charles Schumer. These short-sighted politicians blocking the needed push for reform don't seem to understand the devastating effects the "1500" legislation has incurred upon a very major industry. They think the economy is bad now? Just wait until large and small airlines go bankrupt again.
